South Asia Youth Environment Network (SAYEN)
ECCA is the national focal point of SAYEN in Nepal . It has been organizing different programs for youths (like talk programs, interaction program, field visits, publishing quarterly newsletter "Eco Khabar") and is involved in different project activities (river monitoring, school environment, environment education, alternative technology, culture and heritage etc.). ECCA has motivated more than 2,600 youths in different parts of Nepal – who are actively involved in environment conservation and community development sectors. Youths are networking with schools and motivating nature clubs. ECCA is providing platform for youths to observe different parts of country by providing opportunities to be involved in different activities. ECCA helps them to create network with national and international youths. Nepalese youths (from different organizations, Universities) are getting international exposure through SAYEN and UNEP.
