Partnership with Taksvarkki ry, Finland

Children School Rights And Environment Conservation Follow Up Program has been launched from February 2006 in partnership with Taksvarkki ry (Finland) with the aim of improving the school environment and thereby creating social harmonization.

ECCA attempted the project for the second time and won the project (through international competition) after selection from Finnish schools. The fund supported was raised by Taksvarkki ry from an Operation A Day's Work campaign (with matching support from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Finland).

Taksvarkki ry is a young people's development cooperation organization – which has two fold objectives: to help children and young people in the developing countries on human rights and to encourage Finnish young people towards global collective responsibility. The annual Operation A Day's Work day is one of the highlights of the Finnish school year. This is when students spend a day working and donates their pay .
