Characteristics
ECCA is...

  • Flexible (to meet the need of culturally diverse population)
  • Interdisciplinary (to provide the total environment picture)
  • A Motivator (as it sparks participant's interest in their own environmental problems and emphasizes that they are the protectors of their own surrounding)
  • A Link (as it links environmental experts , motivated youths, and school children)
  • A Start- Nepal's environmental problems can not be solved overnight, but they can be solved in time through the application of sound conservation principles and resource management strategies. The first step is increasing the environmental awareness throughout Nepal and ECCA is working towards this goal by turning first to Nepal's future decision-makers - the children. VISION 2010
